Once again Hollywood fails to resist turning a second sequel into a 3D extravaganza, as The Weinstein Company announces that Summer 2010 will bring a third movie in the Halloween reboot kicked off by Rob Zombie, and that the new entry will be filmed in 3D.
Hey, it worked for Jaws 3D.
Errr, moving on...
Mr Zombie himself is off the project, and The Los Angeles Times reports that negotiations are underway for a new helmer with a fresh point of view on the series. Zombie himself is going to have his hands full with his remake of The Blob.
H2 took an okay $17.4 million on opening this weekend, but Final Destination 3D won by a length, showing that the future of horror is in nasty things flying right out of the screen at you...
