BBC confirms Doctor Who series 6 and Christmas special

It’s not the most surprising news, but Doctor Who will be back again this Christmas, and will return for a full series next year too…

We doubt that any of the what we're about to tell you is a massive surprise, but amidst the clamour of excitement for the first screening of the brand new Doctor Who yesterday, it was revealed that the BBC has commissioned a sixth series of the show since its revival, to be screened next year.
Also, the BBC has confirmed that there will, as usual, be a Doctor Who Christmas special in December, which will be penned by Steven Moffat. Looking forward to that already.

strange in all the Articles nothing about Karen being back all say Matt smith very very strange and also sad i want to see a companion stick around for a while
