Complete Star Wars Disney Plus UK Streaming Guide

Disney Plus UK is your new home for Star Wars streaming. Here’s everything Star Wars-related you’ll find there…

We’re not saying the UK has been waiting long for the arrival of Disney Plus, just that since its US launch last November, human life has changed beyond all recognition.

Back in November, you’d hug a mate, share a bag of crisps and lick a doorknob without giving it a second thought. Now? Those are just fond memories. Now, we stay in.

Don’t miss out on this Disney+ FREE TRIAL, on us!

All our patience (stern look to anyone currently cradling a Baby Yoda doll) has finally paid off. Disney Plus is here and brings with it a host of staying-in entertainment. There’s Marvel. There’s Pixar. There are 650 episodes of The Simpsons. And blessedly, there is Star Wars. Beaucoup de Star Wars.

Here’s all the Star Wars content on Disney Plus UK at launch.

Star Wars TV series on Disney Plus UK

Everything you’d expect is present and correct. Disney Plus UK has the complete Star Wars Rebels including the shorts, as well as all six current series of The Clone Wars.

The big kahuna, of course, is space western The Mandalorian starring Pedro Pascal. Disney will be releasing the eight episodes of the first season weekly, with two at launch, then episode three arriving in the UK on Friday March 27th, and subsequent episodes out each Friday after that.

Only the first two episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars season seven will be available at launch, with a further two following each Friday until April 17th, when the remaining episodes will drop at a rate of one a week, bringing the UK into line with the US.

The Mandalorian season 2 is in the works and expected to air in October 2020 (filming wrapped in early March, just missing the COVID-19 shutdowns currently cutting a swathe through other TV productions).
