Digital Schwarzenegger confirmed for Terminator Salvation
Martin Anderson
He'll be half-back, as the original Terminator is re-made with casts from the James Cameron original film...

Variety reports that Arnold Schwarzenegger's ambiguous statements about his appearance (or lack thereof) in McG's Terminator Salvation do indeed mean that his Terminator character has been digitally recreated for the new film.
Apparently a body-cast of the Governator from James Cameron's original 1984 outing has been used to bring the Austrian superstar into the action with Christian Bale and friends. The report claims: The figure appears in "Terminator Salvation" as a living, breathing actor. Apparently Arnie gave his seal of approval to the resulting FX footage at the last moment before the print of T4 was locked for impending screenings.
No further comment has been made regarding Schwarzenegger's vocal contribution.

Arnie: back. Kind of. But will the L.A. punk hair survive the transition?
