The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 14: Exclusive Clip Teases Michonne’s Dark Past
The Walking Dead season 9 continues with this Sunday's "Scars." Here's an exclusive clip from the episode!
This Walking Dead article contains spoilers.
Things are coming down to the wire on the latest season of The Walking Dead. With only three episodes left in the zombie drama’s ninth season, things are about to get much worse before they get better. But before things completely erupt between the Whisperers and the communities, Daryl arrives in Alexandria with a surprise guest: Lydia, daughter of the Whisperer leader, Alpha. This probably isn’t going to go over well with Alexandria’s head of security, Michonne, considering she’s been really hostile towards outsiders for the past few episodes.
Why is Michonne so closed off to outsiders in the first place? While the first half of the season teased that something bad had happened to Alexandria during the six-year time jump after Rick’s “death” — something connected to the “X” scars that both Michonne and Daryl carry with them — we still don’t have a definite answer as to what happened so many years ago.
Fortunately, this Sunday’s episode, “Scars,” is poised to give us the answers we’re looking for. Michonne is forced to revisit her dark past when Daryl shows up with Lydia and friends. Can Michonne put the past aside and trust that Lydia won’t bring chaos to Alexandria? After all, keeping Lydia within Alexandria’s walls will mean a direct conflict with the Whisperers.
Den of Geek has an exclusive clip from the new episode featuring Michonne and Lydia. Watch it below!
Those weren’t exactly encouraging words from the community’s head of security. This heart to heart between Michonne and Lydia hints that the runaway Whisperer won’t be staying in Alexandria for very long. Maybe Daryl will be able to change her mind? Either way, we’ll find out in just a few days!
“Scars” airs this Sunday at 9 pm on AMC. Read more about The Walking Dead season 9 here.
