Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Where to Find the Best Legendary Weapons and Spells

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is full of weapons and spells that can melt enemies, but these legendary drops are truly special.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands might technically be a spinoff of the legendary Borderlands franchise, but the game still lets you hunt down a nearly endless supply of loot for hours on end. Of course, just as it is in the mainline Borderlands games, not all the loot in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is created equal.

Each time a player kills an enemy or opens a chest, they are greeted by an explosion of colors that indicates the quality (and relative power level) of an item. This rainbow of rarity helps gamers immediately identify which loot they should prioritize, with the orange “Legendary” items often shooting to the top of the list. Not only do those ultra-rare items typically deal more damage than other weapons and spells, but many of them feature unique abilities that set them apart from your garden variety shotguns and sniper rifles.

Since each weapon and spell in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, legendaries included, sport prefixes and suffixes that alter their stats, not every item gels with every playstyle. However, here are a few of the absolute best legendary weapons and spells that are probably worthwhile regardless of your class and build

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Where to Find Masterwork Handbow

In Borderlands, pistols weren’t exactly known for their firing rate, clip size, or damage output, but one pistol in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands stands head and shoulders around countless other weapons (especially if you have the right build).

The Masterwork Handbow is an unassuming sidearm that deals tremendous amounts of damage, but is hindered by a lengthy reload animation and a laughable one-bolt clip. However, this pistol shines whenever it delivers a critical hit. Not only does the weapon deal an impressive amount of critical damage, but six more bolts magically ricochet towards the closest enemy whenever you land a critical hit. On top of that, each critical hit refunds the spent ammo (which eliminates the need to reload). If you max out your critical hit chance, the Masterwork Handbow essentially transforms into an “everlasting mobstopper” weapon that deals death as fast as you can fan the hammer.

If you want your own Masterwork Handbow, your best bet is to farm Shrine Piece – Grindanna. However, some players have also reported that this item can drop from a random enemy.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Where to Find Goblin Pickaxe

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland introduces melee weapons to the Borderlands formula that, just like the game’s guns, come in a variety of rarities. In an apparent attempt to make a good first impression, the developers made one of the game’s earliest legendary melee armaments one of the best overall weapons in the game.

From a visual standpoint, the Goblin’s Pickaxe appears to be…well, just a normal pickaxe you would use to dig for minerals and resources. However, the weapon leans heavily into that theme through its overpowered buff that causes gold to spill out of your opponent whenever you land a hit. As if that wasn’t enough, picking up that gold increases your movement speed and the recovery rate of your actions and skills. Better yet, that buff stacks up to 5 times, so the more gold you hoard, the faster you get.

Most gamers have reported finding this item on the corpse of Pigwart, the boss of Mount Craw’s Ancient Obelisk.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Where to Find Shadowfire

In Borderlands, reloading a weapon isn’t always as boring as just inserting a new clip. Some weapons do incredible things during their seemingly basic reload animations (such as guns that turn into grenades). Well, one of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands best SMGs continues that trend of unexpected weapon reload benefits in just about the coolest way possible.

The Shadowfire is an SMG that shoots out explosive balls that explode into a pillar of hellfire. That’s obviously pretty great on its own, but if your aim is true, the weapon gets even better. If an enemy is hit/killed by that explosion, the next Shadowfire instance fires even faster. Sure you have to reload it sooner, but that means you get to turn it into another dark magic grenade that can melt through enemies.

So far, the most reliable way to obtain a Shadowfire is through the Chaos Chamber (either by opening the final chest or feeding the statues at the end).

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Where to Find Inflammation

Since Tiny Tina’s Wonderland takes place in the fictional roleplaying game Bunkers and Badasses, the world is fantasy-themed and essentially replaces grenade mods from previous Borderlands games with spells. Like other weapons, spells come in a variety of rarities, and the legendary ones have arguably the most overpowered effects in the game.

At first glance, Inflammation of Giants comes across as a somewhat underpowered spell that unleashes a flamethrower that quickly eats through your spell charges. While Inflammation of Giants does engulf enemies it hits for some extra burning damage over time, that effect only represents a fraction of this spell’s true potential.

See, this spell is also a kind of curse that turns enemies into ticking time bombs. If you set those bombs off with a bullet, they explode and pass their curse onto any other enemies within the blast radius. This means exactly what you think it means: Inflammation of Giants lets you turn a tightly-knit squad of enemies into a conga line of explosions.

Inflammation is a random drop from Volcanar, the final boss of the G.T.F.O. quest chain.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Where to Find Reviver

It’s fairly easy to stay alive in Tiny Tina’s Wonderland since the game has regenerating shields and a system that lets you self-revive by killing nearby enemies. However, sometimes the game finds a way to throw absolutely everything at you, and you end up needing a little extra health.

The Reviver spell is one of the game’s few support spells, and it does exactly what it says: heals and revives allies instantly. The spell might have a lengthy cast time, but the ability to bring allies back from the brink of death is well worth it. Moreover, Reviver works on both teammates and class pets, so almost anyone can get something out of it.

So far, nobody has found a reliable source of farming this spell. Reviver can drop virtually anywhere (including random piles of junk).

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Where to Find Frying Pan

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds forever changed the perception of frying pans in video games by making them bulletproof. Given how often Borderlands like to reference other video games, it just makes sense that PUBG‘s overpowered frying pan would make it into the franchise eventually.

As an offensive tool, this weapon is fairly weak. However, you probably won’t use this legendary weapon to bash in enemy skulls but rather to protect your own. When not in use, the Frying Pan reduces the damage of all incoming bullets and projectiles by 90% (so long as they hit your back). On top of that, the weapon has a 15% chance to deflect bullets while holstered. If you start swinging the Frying Pan around, though, the odds of deflection increase to 90%.

In order to obtain the Frying Pan, you will have to farm Master Tonhammer.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Where to Find Threads of Fate

While Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands features guns, the game doesn’t have much in the way of other modern/futuristic technology seen in other Borderlands games (such as turrets). However, some spells and abilities fill that niche in their own ways.

The Threads of Fate legendary spell hurls out a fiery ball that hovers in place and shoots out tiny beams of pure damage. This ability melts through enemies and can even lock onto nearby foes (within reason), but what makes it so deadly is the fact that by the time the orb disappears, the cooldown is almost finished. That means you can essentially lay down a never-ending guardian of death, which is a boon in any defense mission.

The most reliable way to farm Threads of Fate is in the Chaos Chambers. As with other legendaries hidden in the end-game dungeon, you can either find it in the chest or pay one of the statutes and hope it spits the spell out.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Where to Find Lil K’s Bread Slicer

Most assault rifles in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands are pretty simple. You use them to shoot out a steady stream of bullets, and, if you miss with those bullets, you wasted a little ammo. It’s a basic arrangement that Lil K’s Bread Slicer clearly doesn’t agree with.

While Lil K’s Bread Slicer belches out a ton of projectiles, the weapon trades bullets for circular saws that travel in an arc. You’d think that would limit the Bread Slicer’s range, but the projectiles make up for that shortcoming by bouncing whenever they hit a wall or the ground. Moreover, the weapon fires three saws at once, and they can even pass through enemies to slice even more opponents. Even when you find weapons that are supposed to deal more damage per bullet, Lil K’s Bread Slicer will surpass them in sheer carnage.

Unfortunately, Lil K’s Bread Slicer is a world drop, so while you can find it on any random enemy, you can’t farm it.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Where to Find Reign of Arrows

In most shooters, shotguns are close-range weapons that specialize in burst damage: The closer you are to an enemy, the more likely you will turn them into a meat slushie. However, since Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands makes each weapon as magical as they are technological, some legendary shotguns completely break the mold.

The Reign of Arrows is arguably one of the least ammo-efficient weapons in the game. Each shot consumes six shotgun shells, and the weapon only holds six shells at a time. What sort of effect could justify consuming that much ammo? Why the ability to summon magical arrows that pepper the area around wherever the shotgun pellets land, that’s what. Any enemy who stays in the Reign of Arrows’ area of effect is slowly torn apart by damaging shards, and, since you can fire the weapon multiple times, you can make the arrows overlap for lengthier, deadlier traps. Odds are enemies will run out of health before you run out of ammo.

Some players have acquired the Reign of Arrows from the Chaos Chamber, while others claim it is a world drop. You might have to just count yourself lucky if you find this shotgun.
