Link Tank: A Sequel Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is Coming
The hit Star Wars game is getting a sequel, iconic Netflix scenes recreated in LEGO, Tom Holland addresses the future of Spider-Man again, and more in Link Tank!
Lucasfilm has announced new video game projects coming in the near future, including a sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order.
“In the last year, Lucasfilm has announced its intent to bring Star Wars to a broader range of gaming developers, ahead of a decade-long exclusivity deal with EA Games that end in 2023. But just because Lucasfilm has altered the deal doesn’t mean it’s not working with the developer on more Star Wars adventures.”
Check out these iconic scenes from famous Netflix shows turned into LEGO!
“Watched a lot of Netflix Originals lately? Made a lot of LEGO? You’re not alone. All this extra time at home has driven everyone to obsess over old and new pastimes alike. In fact, fan fiction is the lockdown equivalent of cave painting. Our cave-dwelling ancestors painted their walls with scenes from their daily lives – but today’s daily life involves more binging on prestige series and serials than hunting wild beasts.”
We’ve all been wondering what ship Mando would pilot after the destruction of the Razor Crest. It turns out the writers for The Book of Boba Fett had some prequels fan service in store.
“So he does what empty nest dads often do: He gets a new ride. Fittingly, he’s adopted a newer, slimmer mode of transport. He’s now rocking a refurbished N-1 starfighter, a sleek, nimble ship with a sexier silhouette than the boxy, sperm whale-shaped monstrosity Mando last piloted, the Razor Crest. Originally built in the days of the Galactic Republic, the N-1 runs so fast that Mando is pulled over by space highway patrol cops on its inaugural flight.”
Tom Holland expressed he doesn’t know if he’ll return to the character of Spider-Man again after the grand finale of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
“Tom Holland has been our Spider-Man through three standalone movies, three more appearances in the overall Marvel Cinematic Universe, and for the last five years. But the future of Peter Parker is a bit unknown to everyone involved, including Holland himself.”
The stars of West Side Story address the significant controversy surrounding the film’s lead actor, Ansel Elgort.
“The three female leads of Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story—that is, Ariana DeBose (Anita), Rachel Zegler (Maria), and legendary EGOT winner Rita Moreno—have addressed the sexual assault allegations against the film’s star, Ansel Elgort, in a recent THR interview. In doing so, they became the first people from the film’s production—besides Elgort himself, who staunchly denies them—to address in any serious way the accusation that the Baby Driver actor had sexually assaulted a woman in 2014 when Elgort was 20, and the woman in question was 17.”
A new Pokémon game just dropped, which means it’s time for shiny hunters to prepare for another round of grinding to find the elusive pocket monsters.
“Even if shiny hunting in Pokémon games isn’t your cup of tea, it’s always exciting to randomly happen upon one of this uber-rare, alternately colored pocket monsters. Fortunately, Pokémon Legends: Arceus makes achieving this feat easy by reviving an old series tradition and giving players one guaranteed shiny by way of a straightforward mission.”
