Tom Baker hosting Have I Got News For You

Doctor Who meets Have I Got News For You in tonight’s must-watch show

Easily the best episode of Have I Got News For You in recent times was the inspired marriage of the long-running panel show with Brian Blessed earlier in the year. You can read our thoughts on that here.

Clearly, someone at the HIGNFY production offices has tuned into our geek radar, because we understand that tonight’s show is being hosted by none other than Doctor Who legend (like we had to tell you that) Tom Baker. We’ve not seen the show in advance or anything like that, but rest assured come 9pm this evening, we’ll be avidly tuning in.

It might also be worth catching the extended version of the show, which is on BBC 2 at 9.15pm on Saturday evening. Enjoy!

UPDATE: The show is available on BBC iPlayer until Thursday 6th November 2008.
