WWE 2K22: How to Unlock Every Wrestler

Many wrestlers in WWE 2K22 have to be unlocked, which wouldn’t be a problem if the game's roster wasn't so massive. If you just have to have everything, though, then here is how to acquire all of them.

WWE games are best known for their massive rosters (and, occasionally, their hilarious glitches). After all, countless fans tune in to live wrestling shows every week to watch wrestlers grapple and slap each other silly, and since each competitor adopts a different style and gimmick, viewers naturally gravitate towards their favorites. Thanks to WWE titles, those fans can control their preferred champions as they either recreate their favorite matches or dream up new ones. Who wouldn’t want to see Brock Lesnar fight Rowdy Roddy Piper?

WWE 2K22 is not only significantly more stable than recent WWE games, but it features one of the largest rosters we’ve seen in a wrestling game in quite some time. 2K22 features many legends, such as Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and John Cena, but it also includes many bizarre characters that make even the strangest fan creations seem normal. All told, the game sports well over 150 wrestlers, not counting upcoming DLC fighters such as Machine Gun Kelly and Logan Paul (yes, seriously). While that’s an impressive figure, the sheer size of the game’s roster makes it easy to lose track of which characters you’re missing and how to unlock them. Some competitors are hidden behind special achievements, while others require a few bits of digital currency that players can earn in-game (or purchase with real money).

So if you want to assemble your dream roster of wrestlers as quickly as possible in WWE 2K22, here’s how you unlock every character currently in the game:

WWE 2K22: How to Unlock Every Wrestler With Virtual Currency (VC) and DLC

You can earn VC by completing most matches, but the option to purchase it with real money will always be there. All told, it will cost you 37,900 VC to unlock every wrestler available via this method.
