Double Dragon and Kunio-kun: Retro Bundle Coming Soon

18 classic games are coming together for a new bundle from Arc System Works.

The developers from Arc System Works have announced a huge new collection of their classic games. Bringing together 18 fondly remembered titles, the Double Dragon & Kunio-kun Retro Brawler Bundle is set to launch on February 20th, 2020 for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

The bundle will include some games that have come to North America before and some that will be making their debut in this region. The ones you may have played before are Double Dragon, Double Dragon II: The Revenge, Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones, Renegade, Super Dodge Ball, River City Ransom, and Crash’n The Boys Street Challenge.

And these games are being localized in North America for the first time: Nekketsu Renegade Kunio-kun, Nekketsu High School Dodgeball Club, Downtown Nekketsu Story, Nekketsu High School Dodgeball Club – Soccer Story, Downtown Nekketsu March Super-Awesome Field Day!, Downtown Special Kunio-kun’s Historical Period Drama!, Go-Go! Nekketsu Hockey Club Slip-and-Slide Madness, Surprise! Nekketsu New Records! The Distant Gold Medal, Nekketsu Fighting Legend, Kunio-kun’s Nekketsu Soccer League, and Nekketsu! Street Basketball All-Out Dunk Heroes.

“Game genres vary from side-scrolling action, beat-’em-up, sports, and action RPG,” says the official description from Arc System Works. The statement also mentions this: “Online play mode is available for all titles, and a total of 55 in-game missions are waiting for you to obtain nicknames and avatars to show off to your friends! Can you complete all the games?” There are also multiplayer options on select titles that will allow you to play with up to four people locally.

The release date for the Double Dragon & Kunio-kun Retro Brawler Bundle has been set for February 20, and as we mentioned up top, you’ll be able to play it on PS4 and Switch. We’ll let you know if we hear anything about an Xbox One or PC release.
