Jeff Goldblum returns for The World According to Jeff Goldblum streaming now on Disney+! Den of Geek sat down with Jeff to discuss the show’s second season, but things got deeper!
With Sabine Wren joining the ensemble of the Ahsoka series for Disney+, more Star Wars Rebels characters could be prepping to make their live-action debuts in the show.
“Star Wars: Rebels is one of the greatest unfinished works of art in the Star Wars universe. The Clone Wars follow-up series introduces some instant classic characters, including plucky upstart Ezra Bridger and edgy Mandalorian Sabine Wren. But the series ended on an all-time cliffhanger, with Ezra and supervillain Grand Admiral Thrawn lost in space.”
House of Gucci director Ridley Scott has some specific people he thinks are to blame for the box office failure of The Last Duel.
“Before we get into some of the many possible reasons (pandemic) Scott’s film performed badly this year at the (pandemic) box office, let’s once again go over what a millennial actually is. While there is some debate about the edges of this range, millennials were born between 1980 and 1995. Being generous with the numbers, millennials are currently between the ages of 40 and 26. Even at a younger age, the first iPhone didn’t release until 2007, which most non-wealthy 12-year-olds didn’t partake in right away. (Razors and Sidekicks were the model phones if you could afford them).”

“Viewers were so invested in Jim and Pam’s relationship when The Office was airing that there really was no other choice but to have them end up together—though that wasn’t always the plan. And even though they’re in a great place by the show’s finale, the rough patches they go through are hard to watch for diehard fans. Both characters were criticized for choices they made throughout the show’s run, and even the actors faced backlash.”
Let’s be honest, the new Pokémon games are a little dry, but they are still loads of fun to play.
“Some of the initial reviews described Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl as incredibly workmanlike, and they were correct. These games are serviceable recreations that seem to do the bare minimum when it comes to adding anything new, let alone surprising. And yet for all of their mediocrity, I can’t stop playing them.”
After five movies, we finally have a glimpse at the prehistoric earth in the Jurassic World franchise.
“But the five-minute prologue released today won’t be in the movie. Instead these surprisingly quiet and human-free few minutes show what dinosaurs were up to shortly before their number at the extinction deli was called. It’s all very BBC’s Walking With Dinosaurs by way of 2001: A Space Odyssey. So enjoy the splendor of these feathered, chicken-like creatures as they eat eggs and drink water. If only they knew what horrors await them.”
