It's a discredit to Juno writer Diablo Cody, to be fair, but Jennifer's Body could well have been a film fermented from popular Google search terms. Take zombies, cheerleaders and Megan Fox, wrap them all together, and you have this Autumn's upcoming comedy horror.

It's directed by Karyn Kusama, who made the really quite good Girlfight, and the really quite terrible Aeon Flux. Working from Cody's script, the film also stars J K Simmons (yay!), Amanda Seyfried and Adam Brody. But make no mistake: this is the first bona fide Megan Fox star vehicle, and will be a test as to whether she can make the leap from eye candy in Transformers (for that's surely what Michael Bay sees her as) to a real movie star with commercial pulling power.
