The Dead Files Season 11 Finds Secret Prisons and Possession

Medium Amy Allan and ex-homicide detective Steve Dischiavi check out gruesome hauntings for homeowners on Travel Channel’s The Dead Files.

Murder-suicides, brutal homicides, a secret prison and a possible possession go under the magnifying glass and in front of the camera on The Dead Files. Former NYPD homicide detective Steve DiSchiavi and physical medium Amy Allan help frightened homeowners suffering from dangerous paranormal activity in a brand-new season of Travel Channel’s hit series, The Dead Files. Season 11 will air 10 one-hour episodes of season 11 starting on Thursday, July 11 at 10 p.m.

The invesigators examine unexplained and dangerous paranormal activity from their unique viewpoints to uncover the truth behind their clients’ startling claims, and ultimately decide if it’s safe for them to stay. “I’ve seen a lot of things throughout my career, but the cases this season shock even me,”  DiSchiavi, who has 21 years of active service to the NYCPD, and was fraud investigator for Merrill Lynch’ and special investigator for the city of New York, said in a statement. “These families need our help, and for many, we’re their last hope. Amy and I are determined to bring them the answers they need to move forward.”

In every episode, DiSchiavi and Allan first investigate each case separately. Brooklyn- born former DiSchivi interviews witnesses and experts, and researches the history and facts behind each location. Allan, a physical medium who sees and communicates with the dead who worked with private investigators and police agencies in over 350 investigations, assesses the property to identify what underlying entities reside there.

The pair avoid each other, keeping their findings hidden until the very end of each episode when they reveal their discoveries to the property owners. In each episode’s intense conclusion, the team will determine if there’s a way for the clients to stay and fight, or if it’s best for them leave.
