David Harbour on What to Expect from Stranger Things 3

Stranger Things season 3 is on the way and Sheriff Hopper gives us a preview.

He may be all over movie screens starting tomorrow (Friday, April 12) as the star of Hellboy, but David Harbour is also here to remind you that Stranger Things 3, the third season of the hit Netflix retro horror/sci-fi series created by Matt and Ross Duffer, is coming your way in just a few months.

“These Duffer brothers never cease to surprise me with their willingness to take risks,” says Harbour when asked what to expect from the upcoming season. “There’s a whole new pallet to season 3. As you’ve already seen in the trailer. Hopper’s got a mustache and a whole new look and we’re taking all kinds of risks, but it’s just amazing story telling.”

He adds, “There’s some big surprises in this season, as well. It’s, again, one of these shows where I can’t talk about it, but that’s a really good thing, because I think everybody that I talk to loves the show so much and wants to be surprised and wants to be taken on that journey. It really is a hell of a ride this season. I think that you’ll really enjoy it.”

The new season of Stranger Things finds Harbour rejoining other returning cast members such as Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Dacre Montgomery, while new additions include Maya Hawke, Cary Elwes, Jake Busey, Francesca Reale, and Priah Ferguson. The show is set to premiere on July 4.
