D23 Expo 2019 Star Wars

With both Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian set to make appearances at D23 2019, you should expect quite a bit of news (and maybe a trailer or two) from the galaxy far, far away. You’ll find a list of the latest news below:

1) Ming-Na Wen (Agents of SHIELD) has joined the cast of The Mandalorian in an undisclosed role! More details hopefully to come at the Disney+ panel. Read more about the casting here.

2) Marvel is bringing its main Star Wars comic to an end in November, but that might not be bad news! Learn more about the cancelation here.

3) The Clone Wars returns exclusively on Disney+ in February 2020. Here’s everything you need to know about the revival.

5) The Mandalorian trailer is here! Watch it. We also dissected the trailer for all of its secrets here.

6) Ewan McGregor will reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi for a new series on Disney+! Here are the details.

7) Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has released its first poster! A sizzle reel also teased a possible dark side turn for Rey, but we think that twist is very unlikely.

D23 Expo 2019 Marvel

Marvel Studios completely demolished the competition at SDCC 2019 and we expect the studio to continue that streak on its home turf. What are we likely to see at D23? For one thing, we’ll hear about MCU Phase 4 entries such as Black Widow, Shang-Chi, Eternals, and maybe even some more about Thor: Love and Thunder and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. On the TV side, expect Marvel to be a major part of the Disney+ showcase, with both WandaVision, Loki, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier coming to the service.

Here’s all the latest Marvel news from D23 so far:

1) Ms. Marvel is getting a live-action series on Disney+! Here are the details.
