From André the Giant in ’80s classic The Princess Bride to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s rebirth as a Hollywood action icon, the road from wrestling to screen stardom is one that’s well-travelled.

It’s easy to see why these two art forms so often collide – both rely on physically capable, charismatic and quick-witted heroes triumphing over adversity. The WWE boasts big personalities able to fill the big screen, but how well do you know wrestlers on film?

To mark the release of WWE 2K20, the latest instalment in 2K Games’ hit wrestling franchise, we’ve assembled a quiz to test your knowledge on all things WWE and movies. Don’t expect an easy ride, though. We’ve raided the early films of Dwayne Johnson, avoided the obvious Dave Bautista Marvel outings and looked at cameos and curios from the ‘80s and ‘90s.
