Director Rian Johnson expressed his excitement diving back into the universe of Knives Out: “We’ve been very lucky with each of these movies to have gathered some of my favorite actors on the planet, and that’s absolutely the case here… They’re also all lovely folks who get along, which is the dinner party aspect of it. When you’re making an ensemble movie like this I think that’s key.”
Fans will have to wait until near the end of the year for the highly anticipated clash between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
“The boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul originally scheduled to stream live on Netflix July 20 has been postponed, according to a tweet from Most Valuable Promotions, which is co-producing the fight. The stated reason for the delay is an ulcer flare-up that Tyson is suffering from.”
Ahead of its return for season 2, here are the essential details you must remember from House of the Dragon.
“We’re almost back in Westeros. Twenty months after the season-one finale, House Of The Dragon returns on June 16 with eight new episodes. HBO’s Game Of Thrones spinoff isn’t perfect (here’s what we would change), but it strikes a chord with its epic world-building, fascinating characters, and, of course, way more dragons than the original ever had.”
Speaking of House of the Dragon, Westeros banners were caught suspended from the Brooklyn Bridge as part of a viral marketing campaign.
LEGO has made a number of iconic cars and vehicles from movies into Speed Champions sets, including multiple from the Fast and Furious franchise, but what could they do next?
“Ever since LEGO released its first Speed Champion movie cars I have been thinking about possible candidates for the line. I love the magic of movies, cars and LEGO building; making Speed Champions my favourite theme. I am therefore very proud to share my thoughts with you in my first Brickset article which covered vehicles in movies. Those in TV shows will be featured in a future article.”
An iconic Boba Fett action figure broke a record at an auction sale, selling for over half a million dollars.
“During the climax of 1980’s Star Wars sequel The Empire Strikes Back, bounty hunter Boba Fett whisks away Han Solo, his captive safely tucked away in a carbonite coma. The film set up a three-year cliffhanger as well as the emergence of Fett as a cult antihero—a Man With No Name in outer space. His Kenner action figure subsequently became part of urban mythology thanks to its rocket-firing feature, which was thought to be unsafe for children and modified before being distributed.
The few rocket-capable Fetts that survived are rare and have always been valuable—but never quite this valuable. One just set a record for a vintage toy sale, netting $525,000 at auction.”
