Ash vs Evil Dead: How Baby-Proof Was Made

We have an exclusive look at the Ash vs Evil Dead Season 3 Blu-ray!

Can you believe that Ash vs Evil Dead is over? Yeah. We can’t, either. Part of us wishes that the show went on and on and on until it resembled an unholy cross between Law & Order and The Simpsons set against a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Another part of us knows that they probably would have run out of ideas then. Meanwhile, there’s another part of us lurking around somewhere that wants to eat an entire can of vanilla frosting and sleep for ten hours straight — but that’s besides the point.

The point is, here we are: Ash-less, Pablo-less, and Kelly-less.

Okay, fine. Ruby-less too.

But wait! There’s a light at the end of this figurative and slightly Freudian tunnel.

Since the third season of Ash vs Evil Dead aired a bazillion years ago (that’s last spring in real time), that mean the DVD/Blu-ray home video release is just around the corner. And with it comes a whole slew of special features, hopefully more than you can shake a boomstick at! Or whatever else you prefer to shake. We accept you for who you are here at Den of Geek.

Anyway, here’s a sneak preview of an upcoming behind-the-scenes featurette where executive producer Rob Tapert explains how episode 5 of season 3, “Baby Proof”, was made. Hint: it involves lots of kids and plenty of blood. But not in a scary, Dark Web kinda way. It’s totally cute and work appropriate. We promise!

Ash vs Evil Dead Season 3 is out now on DVD and Blu-RayAsh vs Evil Dead Season 4, on the other hand, doesn’t hit the airwaves this fall. Excuse us while we go scream into a body pillow and probably eat that can of frosting we told you about.
