When Jason Statham tried to sell you Kit Kats
Simon Brew
Before he was the action star you least wanted to pick a fight with, Jason Statham tried to sell you chocolate bars, in his own special way...

"Remember. You are not a salmon."
Back in 2003, Jason Statham's career was not where it is today. And some bright spark decided that he was just the kind of cuddly, non-threatening face required to try and sell you chocolate bars. Not only that, they then decided to get The Statham - with his shirt on here, incidentally - to remind us all that we're not fish.
We're not making this up, because here's how he tried to do it...
It's a fine theory. After all, if The Statham came up to you in the street and told you to eat a chocolate bar, chances are you'd eat the chocolate bar and thank him for suggesting it.
Whatever next, we wonder? Jean-Claude Van Damme as the Milky Bar Kid?

I love it when a famous actor forgets to mention the "jobbing actor" phase of their career and makes out it was handed to them on a plate. I seem to recall the Stath claiming he was talent spotted, became a model then became a film star. He didn't mention Kitkats?
