I had a chance to sit down with writer/director Nicholas Meyer to discuss his experiences making the movie and its long-lasting success. But first, some exclusive details regarding the big screen re-release…

It’s always a good time for a Wrath of Khan rewatch, but the film may be particularly relevant now amidst the rumors that Meyer is developing a Khan reboot TV series for CBS. Back in June, Meyer told TrekMovie (via io9): “One thing that has nothing to do with Discovery is that I am working on another Star Trek project, but I can’t discuss that either.”

This week, Geek Exchange claimed that the secret Star Trek project in the works is none other than a miniseries about Khan Noonien Singh. Currently, Meyer is working as a writer on Star Trek: Discovery.
