PS5 Website Goes Live, Promises Incoming Reveals

Is Sony on the verge of announcing some big details about the PS5?

Sony has officially launched its website for the PS5. To be more specific, Sony has launched the UK version of the PS5 website, and we assume that an American version is on the way alongside further international variants.

The UK version of the PS5 website is currently a fairly simple landing page (which should go nicely with that incredibly simple PS5 logo that was recently revealed). The site currently consists of a short paragraph of text and a form where you can sign up for email updates about the PS5.

The text on the page promises that the PlayStation 5 is still “coming this year” with a launch planned for “holiday 2020”, but the website also notes that “we’re not quite ready to fully unveil the next generation of PlayStation.” We’re still yet to see exactly what the new Sony console will look like, despite the fact that Microsoft has already unveiled its incoming Xbox Series X with a trailer and some official photos.

Sony’s new PS5 website notes that people who sign up to receive email updates will be “among the first to receive updates as we announce them, including news on the PS5 release date, PS5 price and the upcoming roster of PS5 launch games.”
