Star Trek: Short Treks Roster Revealed at SDCC 2019

CBS All Access has released a trailer for its six upcoming Star Trek: Short Treks at SDCC 2019.

CBS All Access told us that more Star Trek: Short Treks were coming – they just didn’t happen to mention how many were on the way.

At Star Trek‘s San Diego Comic-Con panel this year, CBS All Access revealed more details about the upcoming Star Trek: Short Treks series. Star Trek: Short Treks will contain six mini episodes that feature some of the franchise’s most beloved characters and actors. Ethan Peck (Spock) and Rebecca Romijn (Number One) took the stage to announce that they will be appearing in episodes alongside Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike.

And that’s not all they announced. How do some tribbles sound to everybody?

CBS All Access also released a trailer including footage from some of the episodes. Give it a look below.

And just in case you didn’t catch the full list of titles, here they are.

Star Trek Short Treks Titles

The titles for the six shorts are “Ask Not,” “Children of Mars,” “The Girl Who Made the Stars,” “The Trouble with Edward,” “Ephaim and Dot,” and “Q&A.” Of course we don’t know which title refers to which segment but it’s safe to assume that the very chatty Spock is involved in “Q&A.”

The Short Treks announcement was part of a busy SDCC for CBS All Access and Star Trek. Also announced was the full cast for the animated Star Trek: Lower Decks, a full cast and trailer for Picard arrived as well, and of course, the latest Star Trek: Discovery season 3 news.

Stay tuned for all the latest news in the extended Star Trek universe.
