15 Photos of Cats Where Gravity Doesn’t Seem Quite Right
Cats already have a questionable relationship with the laws of physics. They squeeze into spaces that should be too small, sleep in positions that look impossible, and somehow land exactly where they intended after a jump that seemed completely doomed. Every once in a while, though, a perfectly timed photo makes it look like they have stopped obeying gravity altogether. People online have captured cats apparently floating in midair, standing sideways on walls, dangling from furniture, and generally behaving as if the floor is more of a suggestion than a rule. Nothing supernatural is happening in these pictures, probably. Still, you may need to rotate your screen a few times before your brain agrees.
This Void Apparently Has Its Own Gravity System
The angle makes this black cat look like it’s standing perfectly upright while the entire room has rotated around it. Those enormous eyes suggest it knows exactly how confusing this is.
This Cat Found a Parking Spot
Forget the truck’s seats or its bed. This cat decided the side mirror was apparently the most reasonable place to stand, making the whole setup look like gravity changed direction somewhere around the driver’s door.
