15 People Share Simple Things That Strike Them as Just a Bit Strange

People love to share all kinds of things over the internet, particularly on Reddit. There, they share pictures of events that seem just a little bit strange to them, even if they likely have some form of explanation attached to them. As surfers of the web, we love to see what people around the world find.

What we’ve gathered here aren’t all unsolved mysteries, yet they still make for compelling pictures for us to wonder at. While we can assume the circumstances that led to these things happening, the why can still elude us. These are the strangest photos we’ve found so far.

Strange Paws

This poor kitten seems to have some strange monster claws. It’s not AI, and beyond some strange mutation at birth, we aren’t sure what we’re looking at.

Rocks Fall

How exactly did this car end up like this? Yes, a stone fell on it, but it isn’t even near any areas known for landslides. It seems this particular vehicle was part of an art exhibition in Denmark.

Fishing Phones

These phones were part of a large batch of phones fished out of the river, a whole bag filled with them. The fisherman took them to the police, who asked to know exactly where he found them.

Baby Doll

This broken and anatomically correct baby doll was found by a Reddit user just outside their home. It likely wasn’t used by a kid in this state, and their house isn’t near any trash dumping sites, so the doll remains an unnerving find.

Heart Pendant

Another Reddit user was rummaging through their late grandmother’s belongings, only to find a heart pendant with strange stones inside of it. People online claim it was used as perfume, but we can never know now.

Unexpected Find

One thing you don’t expect to find at the doorstep of your parent’s house is a condom. It’s thankfully unopened, but a regular occurrence at this house in particular. If it’s a prank, we really don’t get it.

Hello Spam

This image does have an explanation: it’s a can of Spam, doing a collaboration with the Hello Kitty brand. What remains to be answered is, well, why would Hello Kitty and Spam do a collaboration.

Faces

This Reddit user’s family has had their house for years, and only now they’ve noticed faces on the walls. Drawn faces, that is. And no one in the house remembers doing that.

Circular Opening

Circles, in case you don’t know, aren’t that common in nature. So seeing a circular opening to the woods is definitely eerie, particularly when it’s hard to imagine how that can be man made.

Faefolk

Staying with the haunted woods theme, this person found this little toy while walking through the woods. That’s only after feeling as if someone was following them for days.

Deformed Grape

To the right, we can see a perfectly normal grape, ready to be consumed. To the left, a strange joining of multiple grapes, too bizarre to just throw away, but too unsettling to put in anyone’s mouth.

Egg

Having someone ‘egg’ your house, as in throwing eggs at your residence, is bad enough. This is a different case, though, since the eggs are cooked in advance. Less of a mess, more of a mystery.

Cloudnado

This is not a tornado in the making, thankfully for the person looking at it, but simply a strange looking cloud. It is incredibly ominous though.

Doll

This doll is somehow not creepy enough to be the product of witchcraft or voodoo, but creepily placed so as to avoid anyone actually trying to take it down.

Shoe Display

Why would you ever need to have so many shoes in your car? It isn’t clear if this has any practical use, but judging by the flip-flops just hanging there, it might be this driver’s idea of decoration.
