15 Bad Tattoos We Just Can’t Forgive

When you’re getting ink done on your body, you can basically do anything you want. It’s not like you need anyone’s permission to get something silly done, although you do need to keep in mind the consequences. Get a bad tattoo, you’ll elicit bad reactions from people.

But what is a bad tattoo? More often than not, it means a somewhat ok concept buried into a very poor execution. And if the concept is already bad, you’re in for a treat. These are just some of the tattoos people are showing everyday, picked by how much we can’t forgive them.

YEEYEE

While mirrored in the image (the picture was taken on a mirror after all), the idea of getting a tattoo saying YEEYEE is baffling. It likely means something, but it’s unlikely it means something good.

Dog

This isn’t the worst executed dog tattoo we’ve ever seen, but it’s up there. We wonder if there maybe was a better picture to use as base instead of this dorky faced one.

An Attempt

There’s nothing like having the original image to compare how well the artist replicated the assignment on their client’s skin. In this case, not too well.

Snake

This snake’s body makes no sense if you try to follow it along, and even if it did, the proportions are so off that it would still look pretty bad.

That’s Not The Plural Of Hero

Always take your text through grammar check, people. And remember, adding an apostrophe is not the way to make a world plural. The correct word is heroes, in case you were wondering.

This is, evidently, an attempt at making an Iron Maiden tattoo. The good news is that it ended up being recognizable. The bad news is everything else.

However you might feel about hand tattoos, the reality about them is the lack of space. In this case, the L had so little room to spread that it ended up looking like a C.

There’s nothing quite like getting a Halloween-themed tattoo for the Halloween season, although that Michael Myers is looking more and more female-coded by the second.

Undead Soldier

A dead soldier isn’t of better use than a live one, but this is probably in reference to the band Hollywood Undead. A band that hasn’t been relevant for quite some time now.

Between the hairy sun, the poorly painted planets, and an outer space that looks like sewage water, it’s hard to imagine anyone thinking this is a good tattoo idea to get done.

Some ideas are simple enough that they’re hard to mess up. Unless you do the tattoo yourself, apparently. And with your off hand.

A possum having a stand-off against a caterpillar to protect a taco is certainly something, and that something is a silly t-shirt idea. Not a tattoo-worthy one.

Bent Lines

Simple tattoos, made with just a couple of lines, have their cute uses in the tattoo world. That is, if you can follow and make a straight line, otherwise your art will look more deformed than cute.

This is certainly a commitment to the bit, although there may have been better bits to commit to. At any rate, this guy maybe has a lot of friends whose names start with S.

Art?

This man’s leg is filled with tattoos of different art styles, and apparently of different progression stages as well. What they seem to have in common is being a mess of washed colors where you can’t tell one figure apart from the next.
