xXx 4 Officially Happening, Funding Found

A new group puts up the funds for Vin Diesel's xXx 4, as well as a new film that sounds like it should be an Under Siege sequel...

A new film financing company by the name of The H Collective has spring into life, and one of the first movies it’s set to back is xXx 4, starring Vin Diesel.

Earlier this year, in spite of struggling a little in the US, xXx: Return Of Xander Cage brought in $346 million at the global box office, and Diesel was hinting around the time of its release that another chapter in the story might be in the offing. The H Collective’s deal to fund the movie gives it all rights excluding television and American theme park rights. If they wanted to do a Vin Diesel xXx-themed bumper car ride, they can’t. It’s a tough life.

There’s been no word recently from Diesel on xXx 4, and where it fits into his schedule. Nor do we have word on a writer and/or director for the film. What we have so far is someone to pay the bill for it, which isn’t a bad start.

Amongst the other films that The H Collection is funding, incidentally, is White House Chef. A movie about a Chinese chef who’s working in the White House, who has to save the President and his family when they’re targeted by terrorists during a state dinner. That, folks, sounds like an Under Siege sequel to us.
