15 Images of People Sharing Their Fandoms With Bad Tats
A common way to immortalize your preferred fandom is to have a tattoo of it, carrying it with you on your skin forever more. In any case, having a good tattoo made of that subject depends on the design and the artist involved. These following tattoos had one of those two elements go wrong.
We’ve gathered some pretty bad tattoos from around the internet, all centered around a desire to share a fandom, and the lack of resources or knowledge to do them justice. People can get anything done on their skin, but if it’s bad enough, then we’re allowed to point at it for fun.

Edward Was Here
Many fans of Twilight wished they were Bella, branded by the lead vampire forever more. We’re pretty sure Edward never signed his meals, though.

Basketball
Nothing in this scene seems to have the right consistency, or being well drawn for that matter. The net just looks like a bunch of lines and the players seem more liquid than solid.

Ginga Cover Up
This odd looking canine from the anime Ginga seems to be here to cover something up. It’s doing a poor job at that.

Titanic
It seems in poor taste to get a tattoo of a tragedy from many years ago just because you liked a movie, unless this is meant to represent the movie Ghost Ship, in which case no harm no foul.

Questionable Haunter
If you know how the original Haunter Pokemon looks, then you’ll know there’s something off about this guy. Was it drawn from memory, or did the artist have their own version of Haunter in mind?

Stitch
There’s not much wrong with the line work on this one, the colors though leave a lot to be desired. Thankfully, that’s something that can be fixed down the line.

Death Note
This is something emerging more and more in the world of bad tattoos: designs by AI. The hands of the world-famous Shinigami don’t make a lot of sense, and the speech bubble asking for apples is off in all kinds of AI ways.

Witcher Piece
A moon with the Witcher series’ symbols, Luffy from One Piece, and the Deadly Hallows brothers from Harry Potter. It’s ok to have multiple fandoms, but what does it even mean to have them all together like that?

Pennywise Joker
Combine the makeup of Pennywise, the setting of Joakin Phoenix’s Joker and the phrase of Heath Ledger’s Joker, and you have a mismatch made by someone who doesn’t get the character at all.

Rough Pika
This little guy is almost cute enough to get away with it, if it wasn’t for his rough coloring, and his abnormally large right paw.

Mashed Up Fandoms
Each individual tattoo might be fine, but combined into an absolutely nothing composition make them look less like things this person likes, and more like they lost several bets.

Tired Goku
For Dragon Ball Super purists, this is wrong on many levels, including the outfit. But you don’t need to be a Super fan to tell that the hair is off, and that the face does not belong at all there.

Discount BTS
If you squint, maybe you could tell that these are meant to be the famed pop stars BTS. We are not entirely sure ourselves.

Suffering Pennywise
I guess we now know what happened to Pennywise once he was defeated in the It series; he turned into a forever suffering tattoo. What a fate.

Line Work
This isn’t the worst WALL-E we’ve ever seen, but there are a bunch of lines there that disrupt the work. Were they already there, or is the little robot meant to have some form of experimental eyelashes?
