For many, the news that NBC is remaking The Rockford Files is a piece of news that will bring a big, broad grin to their faces. It's pressing ahead with a pilot for a new show, and it could just have played a casting blinder.
That's because Ausiello Files over at Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Den Of Geek favourite Alan Tudyk - he of Firefly and Dollhouse fame - is apparently joining the cast. He's set to play Dennis Becker in the show, the role that was originally inhabited by Joe Santos.
Also in the cast is Dermot Mulroney, who will be taking on James Garner's role as Jim Rockford himself.
