Torchwood: Child Of Earth gets DVD & Blu-ray release date

It’s not been broadcast yet, but Torchwood’s third season has been inked on the disc release schedules…

The five-episode third season of Torchwood is, given the reports coming out of press screenings this week, all but finished, with the show set to run in June. But what has been revealed is that the show is likely to be arriving in high definition on Blu-ray on 15th September, along with the DVD release.
This isn't a huge surprise, given that the first two seasons of the show were also filmed and released in high definition. But it also seems that we can expect a two-disc set, with pricing and special features yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, we wait and see if the early rumours of the strong opening to the season prove to be true; we suspect that all the reviews are heavily embargoed for the time being, though...
