SEX EDUCATION

 SEASON 3

MEET THE NEW CHARACTERS

By Kirsten Howard

Sex Education heads back to Netflix for Season 3, but some new cast members will have a huge impact on Moordale.

The long wait for Season 3 of Netflix’s smash hit comedy series Sex Education is over!

We rejoin the students, staff, and parents of Moordale Secondary School for a brand new batch of episodes as they continue to contend with their complex personal lives and sexual intimacy.

Joining Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa and Emma Mackey in the Sex Education cast this year are Jason Isaacs, Jemima Kirke, and Dua Saleh.

Isaacs is playing Peter Groff, headmaster Groff's older and way more successful brother. Adam's dad has been staying with Peter after he split with his wife.

The actor should be familiar to fans of the Harry Potter series, as he played the dastardly Lucius Malfoy there to great effect.

Star Trek: Discovery viewers will also recognize him as Captain Gabriel Lorca, an escapee from the Mirror Universe who turned the series upside down.

Jemima Kirke joins Season 3 as Moordale’s new headmistress, Hope Haddon, who takes over from Mr. Groff.

Kirke is best known for her role as Jessa Johansson on the HBO series Girls.

Meanwhile, Dua Saleh plays non-binary student and recording artist Cal, who clashes with the new headmistress.

Saleh is a Sudanese-American songwriter and poet who released a critically acclaimed debut EP called Nūr back in 2019.

These three new additions will definitely mix things up at Moordale!
