Re: First promo shots for Ashes To Ashes series 3Daniel Mays put in a great performance recently in Hustle. I'm looking forward to seeing this in a big way. What about a cameo from John Simm???
Re: First promo shots for Ashes To Ashes series 3"What about a cameo from John Simm???" I'd love that. But I'm not sure if I'd like to know that now, if that makes sense. I'd like to be surprised.
Re: First promo shots for Ashes To Ashes series 3Not wanting to be a nitt picker but unless his cameo is in a flash back OR she see's him as a child then it can't happen.
If you remember in the very first episode Ray Carling tells Alex Drake that Sam was with them for 7 years before being killed while attending an Armed Robbery...
Don't get me wrong - I would LOVE it if Sam came back just can't see how other than as above...??
Anyone else got any thoughts on this one??
Re: First promo shots for Ashes To Ashes series 3does that shadow on the right of the picture not look like Hunts to anyone else?.. the neck and hair do look different, or am I seeing things again?
Re: First promo shots for Ashes To Ashes series 3If my memory of series one serves, Sam Tyler ended up driving into a river chasing a suspect but no body was ever recovered.
Sounds like an almost clichéd way of 'bringing him back from the dead' by virtue of him not dying in the first place.
Re: First promo shots for Ashes To Ashes series 3Just watched the whole of Mars and Ashes recently while laid up with a broken leg. XP is right - Sam chased the suspects of the armed blag and drove his car into a river. No body was ever recovered. |

First promo shots for Ashes To Ashes series 3
Simon Brew
DCI Gene Hunt is ready for action one last time, as the first shots of Ashes To Ashes series 3 appear…
With an announcement about its transmission date expected imminently, the BBC has released the first publicity shots from the third and final series of Ashes To Ashes.
The first of the two shots is the conventional promo shot of Keeley Hawes as DI Drake and Philip Glenister as DCI Gene Hunt. But we've also got a shot of a new character, Jim Keats, who's being played by Daniel Mays.
We've got a full interview with one of the main brains behind the show, Mr Matthew Graham, in the next week or so.
In the meantime, here are the pictures...
