Horror auteur Mike Flanagan’s new Netflix series, Midnight Mass, features plenty of familiar faces from his previous works.

Horror writer/director Mike Flanagan likes to keep things in the family.

Previous projects like The Haunting of Bly Manor, The Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep, Gerald’s Game, and more feature much of the same cast.

With his latest Netflix horror series, Midnight Mass, however, the “Flana-family” has grown larger than ever.

These are just some of the recurring Flanagan players you can expect to see when the religious horror series premieres Sept. 24 on Netflix.

Kate Siegel (who happens to be married to Flanagan) will star as Erin Greene in Midnight Mass. She has previously appeared in both “Hauntings”, Gerald’s Game, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Hush, and Oculus.

Annabeth Gish plays Dr. Sarah Gunning in Midnight Mass. She previously played Mrs. Dudley in The Haunting of Hill House.

Rahul Kohli plays Sheriff Hassan in Midnight Mass. He is a relative newcomer to the Flana-verse, having just popped up in The Haunting of Bly Manor.

Robert Longstreet plays Joe Collie in Midnight Mass. Before that he turned up as Barry the Chunk in Doctor Sleep and Mr. Dudley in The Haunting of Hill House.

Henry Thomas plays Ed Flynn in Midnight Mass. He’s the most frequent Flanagan collaborator aside from Siegel, having appeared in the Hauntings, Gerald’s Game, Doctor Sleep, and Ouija: Origin of Evil.

Samantha Sloyan plays major Midnight Mass character Bev Keane. She previously worked with Flanagan in The Haunting of Hill House and Hush.

Michael Trucco makes his return to the Flana-family as town mayor Wade in Midnight Mass. He last appeared in Hush.

Alex Essoe appears in Midnight Mass in an undisclosed role. Previously, she was Charlotte Wingrave in The Haunting of Bly Manor and Wendy Torrance in Doctor Sleep.
