The fight for the company will continue with Succession Season 2 coming to HBO.

What’s next in line for HBO? The premium cable network confirmed an order for Succession Season 2. The renewal came just two weeks after the series premiere. Succession Season 1 featured 10 episodes and one very provocative ending.

Succession was created by Jesse Armstrong, who is best known for creating and writing the long-running Channel 4 comedy Peep Show. The pilot was directed by Adam McKay (The Big Short), who also executive produces the series along with Will Ferrell under their Gary Sanchez Productions banner.

Succession Season 2 Cast

Succession follows a family-owned major media conglomerate. With the patriarch of the family (played by Brian Cox) set to reluctantly scale back his role, the series focuses on the battle for control of the company between his four children, played by Jeremy Strong (Masters of Sex), Kieran Culkin (Fargo), Alan Ruck (The Exorcist) and Sarah Snook (Black Mirror). The whole Roy family will be back for Succession Season 2. No other major guest stars have been announced yet but someone else has to keep this family in line.
