Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke Promises Spoilers in Adorable Contest Video

Emilia Clarke teams with Omaze to bring a pair of fans to the Game of Thrones set... while adorably failing to sneak her own camera onto it.

When it comes to secrecy in television production, there is the rest of our oversaturated, Peak TV market—from broadcast to basic cable, and from premium cable to streaming—and then there is Game of Thrones. A series that only grows more covert as the years pass, and more watched despite the crazy amount of leaks, the HBO flagship doesn’t even offer critics early glimpses anymore. Yet Emilia Clarke, aka Daenerys Targaryen, is willing to change that for one lucky fun… if not the rest of us, as judging by the charming video below.

In the latest partnership between a celebrity and Omaze, Emilia Clarke donned her full Mother of Dragons regalia to reveal that she will let one winner and a plus one tour the Game of Thrones Season 8 set with her in Belfast. Which is doubly impressive considering this is the final season of the sword and sorcery epic, and that means the winner will get a sneak peek (and probably a strictly enforced NDA) for the final Battle for the Dawn. And all entries alike will get the chance to support Ms. Clarke’s good charity of choice, which in this case is the Royal College of Nursing.

For everyone else, there is the frankly adorable video below where Clarke mounts an irresistible charm offensive as a star with not nearly as much clout or Khaleesi-like command of subordinates as she would hope. Indeed, Clarke valiantly tries, and repeatedly fails, to sneak her camera crew on one of the Belfast sets for Game of Thrones Season 8. And when that fails, she takes us to her trailer and accidentally reveals a fangirl crush that will make those nostalgic for season 1 very happy.

The full video is available above. You can also check out our own season 8 theories about the fate of Clarke’s much more regal onscreen alter-ego, Daenerys Targaryen, right here. You can also donate to Omaze and a very worthy cause right here.
