After the somber ending of season three, Degrassi: Next Class fans were left in the lurch about the fates of their favorite characters. For month’s we’ve been waiting to learn what happened to Maya after he attempted suicide, Tristan confronting Miles, and Zoe coming more to terms with her sexuality. Well now we know when Degrassi: Next Class Season 4 will premiere… 

Degrassi: Next Class Season 4 Release Date

It’s set to begin airing in Canada on July 3, 2017, streaming on the Family Channel app (in Canada) on June 30, 2017, and the series will stream worldwide July 7, 2017 on Netflix. We can’t wait!

We’ve got another new trailer, with some brief teases of the new season. What is with that white room with the color dots?

In this trailer all the kids talking to Snake about some mysterious event. What could it be? Poor Snake, he just needs to catch a break. Also, did Zig just say “shit”? Degrassi hasn’t thrown out a curse like that since School’s Out!

The official Degrassi YouTube channel revealed a new trailer featuring many teases to this season’s upcoming plots.

Esme has some problems with her online footprint, Lola and Yael grow closer, and is that Goldi/Winston flirting I see? The season looks set to graduate a large chunk of the cast off, in fact this is the largest graduation class since all the way back in Degrassi High. Everyone in the ending shot of the trailer should be the ones graduating, including Tristan, Miles, Maya, Grace, Zoe, Jonah, Goldi, Winston, Esme, Tiny, and Zig.

Those will be some big shoes to fill for the upcoming freshmen but we’ve got faith in Degrassi to pull it off. As we discussed in our glowing season three review, this show knows how to do teen drama right.
