Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger is one of the best new shows of the summer, and it’s taking San Diego Comic-Con by storm with Olivia Holt, Aubrey Joseph, Emma Lahana and Ally Maki, along with executive producers Joe Pokaski and Jeph Loeb, on hand to take fan questions and share the latest news.
In addition to announcing that Marvel and Freeform have ordered a second season of the comic book drama (yay!), the panel shared a sneak peek of the final two episodes of the season with those gathered.

Thus far, Cloak and Dagger has aired eight of the first season’s 10 episodes. The final two episodes, “Back Breaker” and “Colony Collapse,” will air on Juiy 26th and August 2nd. If you’ve yet to watch, you’re really missing something special. We talked to showrunner Joe Pokaski for our Den of Geek San Diego Comic Con Magazine about bringing the comic book story to the screen.
“I think we are at another time in our history where we need to see people that look different than Tony Stark or Peter Parker on the screen,” Pokaski said.
“We are also in a place where we are starting to learn that the kids are going to save us all,” he says. “Look at the Parkland students. In a world where they’re told nobody’s going to push the needle on gun control, nobody’s going to stop the NRA, they stand up and they’re heard. I think we need to watch those stories and we need to be reminded that we can all be heroes. Particularly, the kids who are often told to sit down and be quiet, need to stand up and save the world.”
