A.P. Bio Sneak Peek: Finally, A True Villain’s Monologue For Glenn Howerton

In this exclusive clip of this week’s A.P. Bio, “Eight Pigs and a Rat,” Jack turns up the heat on the class to find a rat.

When you enlist Glenn Howerton to play lead on your sitcom, you’re signing yourself up for at least one amazingly overwrought and dramatic villain monologue. Howerton’s Dennis on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is basically the comedic version of Shakespeare’s Iago.

There is no issue minor enough not to warrant an unhinged rant. Now, on A.P. Bio, it looks like the full gifts of Howerton’s oratorical smackdowns will be on display. In this exclusive clip from “Eight Pigs and a Rat,” teacher Jack Griffin shows his kids what’s what.

So who knows what Jack is so upset about. Could be literally anything given his penchant to fly off the handle. But the official episode description offers plenty of hints

“One of Jack’s students anonymously reports him for canceling their much-anticipated fetal pig dissection; Jack sets out to find the snitch; Durbin’s chances at Principal of the Year are in jeopardy when the superintendent visits.”

Ah so one of the students has finally ratted on Jack – at least about his misuse of fetal pigs. That was probably a poor decision. And now the full villain’s monologue:

“You think you got me, huh? One of you rats me out and you’re sitting there thinking ‘I got him.’ I won’t be made to look like a fool in front of anyone. Certainly not some Midwest superintendent with a degree from a religious liberal arts college. Now one of you is gonna come forward and confess or you’re all missing your next class. Now one of you sinned. You sinned real bad.”

Jack is so imposing that poor Vic reflexively admits to getting a boner when they learned CPR.

“Eight Pigs and a Rat” airs Thursday, April 19 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
