Where to see The Dark Knight Rises prologue

There are only four screens in the UK set to show the prologue to The Dark Knight Rises. Here's where to see it in Britain, and in the US and Canada...

In a couple of weeks time, attached to certain IMAX screenings of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, you’ll be able to watch the six minute prologue to Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises.

That’s the good news.

On the downside? The limited list of venues where it’ll be playing, especially in the UK. Nolan is keen for the prologue to be shown on screens that support 65mm/70mm film projection. And that accounts for the fact that only four screens in the UK will be showing the prologue. They are:

BFI London – LondonNational Media Museum IMAX – BradfordGlasgow Science Centre IMAX Cinema – GlasgowOdeon Manchester IMAX @ The Printworks – Manchester

The prologue is six minutes long, and sadly, it looks like most of us won’t get to see it on a big screen, especially in the UK. That’s a pity: it doesn’t sound like the kind of sequence that should be seen on a YouTube clip a couple of months later…
