Leonard Nimoy in Star Trek: The Original Series

The Nacelle Company has wrapped production on That Guy… Who Was in That Thing 3: Trek Stars, the third volume of thier documentary film series that takes a closer look at character actors. For the third installment in the series, Nacelle is focusing on the world of Star Trek, which is obviously right up our alley… not to mention good timing for a fandom and franchise that is at such an exciting time in its history.

That Guy… Who Was in That Thing 3: Trek Starsfeatures actors who have appeared in everything from The Original Series to Discovery, which is no doubt not only an interesting tour through Trek history, but also TV history, considering TOS originally aired in the 1960s and Discovery is happening now. The film includes interviews with everyone from the late Leonard Nimoy to Nichelle Nichols, Rainn Wilson, Christopher Lloyd, Sarah Silverman, Michael Dorn, James Cromwell, Jeri Ryan and more.

The first That Guy… Who Was in That Thing premiered on Showtime in 2012, and was interesting in interviewing working actors, the kind of Hollywood actor who people might refer to as “that guy who was in that thing.” In 2015, That Gal… Who Was In That Thing premiered on Showtime, and included interviews with Catherine Hicks, Alicia Coppola, and Roxanne Hart.
