Special DoG screening event: The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists

Join other Den Of Geek readers at a special preview screening of Aardman’s latest movie this Friday evening — with a free ham feast thrown in too!

The Pirates!

Earlier this year, we were thrilled to be able to bring the mighty readers of Den Of Geek an early screening of The Muppets, after which the full got the best part of a minute’s solid applause. Now? We’re doing it again, with a film you’ll equally want to feast your eyes on.

This Friday, at 6pm, we’ve got a special private screening room booked out in London, and we’ve laid on – well, Sony has, but we’re taking the credit – something really rather special.

Basically, we’ve got an exclusive Den Of Geek screening of the new Aardman stop motion film, The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists, which isn’t out until Wednesday 28th March. Also? There’s going to be a ham feast beforehand (with suitable vegetarian alternative), and free drinks, too! We might even have some booty for you to win.

As before, this is completely free of charge: all we ask is that you give your reactions to the film, either on Twitter or Facebook, after the screening.

To be in with a chance of a ticket or two – and the numbers are quite limited – then we need you to Tweet ‘I’d like one/two #ThePirates tickets @denofgeek!’. Please make sure you’re following us, though, else we can’t get in touch with you!

If you’re on Facebook, then we’ll be putting a post up at www.facebook.com/denofgeek, and you can enter by commenting on that with the number of tickets you’re after. We’ll give priority to those who have also liked The Pirates! Facebook page, here.

It’s a family film, so you can happily use a ticket to bring a child along if you want to. We will feed them with ham feast (or suitable vegetarian alternative) too.

One last thing: if you apply for a ticket or two, please make sure you can use them. If, for any reason, you can’t, then let us know.

Good luck!
