Ninja Turtles’ new Master Splinter found

Danny Woodburn joins the cast of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film...

Filming has begun now on the much talked about new big screen version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It’s going by the name Ninja Turtles this time, with Michael Bay amongst the producers, and Jonathan Liebesman directing.

We’ve seen most of the cast fall into place, with the four actors playing the Turtles revealed, and Megan Fox looking like she’s playing April O’Neil. But now it’s been revealed who’s going to be playing Master Splinter in the new movie.

The role has gone to Danny Woodburn. Woodburn’s credits include playing Mickey Abbott in Seinfeld, as well as big screen appearances in the likes of Mirror Mirror and Watchmen. Expect the rest of the cast to be rounded out and confirmed shortly. Ninja Turtles is set for release in May 2014.
