Megan Fox joins Jonah Hex, Fathom

And it’s not the only comic book movie that the Transformers star is getting attached too…

Megan Fox

With Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen long in the can (at least where the actors’ work is concerned), Megan Fox has been busying herself picking her next role or two.

The actress is reportedly being added to the cast list of the DC Comics adaptation Jonah Hex, which has Josh Brolin in the title role, and is set for release next year. She’s set to play Leila in the film, which starts lensing next month.

She’s also circling Fathom, another comic book movie, this time set underwater. The comic is about a character called Aspen, who has the ability to control water, which is no small talent to be fair. It’s understood that Megan Fox is involved in the development of the project, and that Jordan Mechner – he who made the brilliant, original Prince Of Persia game, replete with those bloody spikes – is penning a screenplay.

There’s no news on a release date for Fathom, but expect the Jonah Hex deal to be done and dusted very quickly.
