James Bond: Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy Bookies’ Favorites For Role

If and when Daniel Craig quits as 007, bookmakers are currently backing Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy for the role...

Eon Productions and Daniel Craig remain mum about who will be playing James Bond in the next 007 adventure, which we suspect will be filming before the end of the year. But that hasn’t stopped the bookmakers getting to work, as they tend to do.

Thus, if Daniel Craig does decide to hang up his tuxedo ahead of whatever film James Bond 25 turns out to be, the current favourites – according to odds amalgamation site Oddschecker (we’ve no affiliation, lest you think we’re trying to flog you gambling), sees the favorites as Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy, and James Norton, with Aidan Turner not far behind.

Just behind them? The regulars. Tom Hiddleston (and rumors suggest that Eon have cooled on casting him in the role, although take all 007 rumors with a pinch of salt at the moment), Idris Elba, and Jack Huston.

There’s a mixture of people a little further down the list. Theo James, Raza Jaffrey, Harry Styles, and David Tennant can each be found on there. One bookmaker is offering 16/1 on the next James Bond being “any female” too.

It all remains in Daniel Craig and Eon’s hands for the minute, anyway. And remember: gamble responsibly and stuff like that. But on this one, we’d suggest it’s barely worth a bet at all..
