Gondry Gets The Horn(et)

The award~winning Frenchman helms the big screen take on The Green Hornet.

The Green Hornet

Michel Gondry is to direct the movie adaptation of the masked crime fighter, The Green Hornet.

Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) had already worked on a treatment of the film back in the Nineties with Robocop and Starship Troopers scribe, Edward Neumeier. The Oscar~winning Frenchman has just directed an episode of Flight of the Conchords for HBO.

The Green Hornet is written by Seth Rogen (who is also starring) along with Evan Goldberg; the pair previously worked together on Superbad and Pineapple Express.

Production begins later this year on the Columbia Pictures project which is due to hit the big screen in North America, June 25, 2010.
