Captain Marvel DVD/Blu-ray Release Date and Special Features

Here's everything you need to know about the Captain Marvel DVD, Blu-ray, and home digital release.

Captain Marvel DVD Blu-Ray Release Date, Special Features, and Details

It wasn’t too long ago that Captain Marvel arrived to smash both the box office and some very online gentlemen into submission while snatching up a billion dollars worldwide, but Disney and Marvel are already planning the movie’s home release.

Carol Danvers’ origin story was structured in a slightly different way than we’ve come to expect, which worked fine for some and not so much for others. Kree warrior Vers, having been picked up and utilized as a weapon after a life-changing incident that she can’t quite recall, finds herself crashing back down to Earth in the 1990s with a growing need to replace the memories she’s lost – what exactly happened to her before blue blood started running through her veins?

In the film, both the audience and one very de-aged Mr. Nick Fury got introduced to Carol and her escalating superpowers, and also to a scene-stealing new star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Goose, who we hope to see again very flerken soon.

If you want to grab a copy of Captain Marvel to watch again at home, the US release is currently scheduled for May 28 digitally (pre-order here) and June 11 (pre-order here) on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD.
