Nintendo shocked everyone at E3 2019 when it confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is now in development. The publisher took fans by surprise, giving them a sneak peek at something that initially looked like a piece of Zelda DLC but turned out to be a fully-fledged sequel to 2017’s runaway hit, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Naturally, Nintendo didn’t really say much about what we should expect from this game. So what we can we take away from the Breath of the Wild 2 teaser? Not much, but it certainly looks like Zelda and Link are picking up about where they left off at the end of the last game. It also looks like the game will take place roughly in the same world that was featured in Breath of the Wild. Of course, we expect that there will be plenty of new areas to explore.

What’s most intriguing, though, is whatever happens to be at the center of the dungeon that Link and Zelda are walking into. We’re going to guess that this is our first look at the big evil in the sequel, but there’s no strong indication of what, exactly, that may be. Context clues suggest that it’s something quite ancient, quite menacing, and perhaps even something that’s been hinted at by the series before. We wrote up a complete trailer breakdown right here.

Here’s everything else we know about the game:

There’s also no indication of when The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 may be released, but you probably shouldn’t expect to see it before 2021, assuming the sequel is in very early development. It’s coming to the Nintendo Switch.
