Mortal Kombat 11: The Kollector Revealed as New Character

The final new character of Mortal Kombat 11 is a dynamic one, collecting blood and money with the use of four arms.

Mortal Kombat 11: The Kollector

Between Mortal Kombat 11’s initial announcement and the leaked list of fighters, it was long common knowledge that the new installment would feature four new characters. Time-manipulating schemer Kronika is the new big bad and Geras is her enforcer. Then there’s Cetrion, the nature goddess, who will presumably be fighting alongside the heroes. All we knew was the fourth guy was his name: The Kollector.

There was a very brief glimpse of The Kollector in the story trailer, but we finally have a real look at him. What species he is isn’t known quite yet. He has four arms, but due to his finger count, he doesn’t appear to be a Shokan like Goro and Kintaro. Whatever he is, he comes off as a more vicious Gollum with a couple of extra limbs.

Apparently, Kollector is Shao Kahn’s accountant/tax collector. He’s a scavenger both for his master and for his survival, constantly holding and rummaging through his backpack for various weapons to use. His Fatality is made more interesting by the fact that he inspects the torn body parts for value.

With about two weeks away before the game’s release, the only two characters we haven’t seen yet are Kitana and Frost. There’s also D’Vorah, who was confirmed through a promotional render, but we’ve yet to see her in action in a gameplay trailer.
