David Brevik has announced the delay of Marvel Heroes‘ Early Access for anyone that purchased a Founder’s Pack, due to some “serious” issues found in the game that the developers are working to correct.
“We’re in the process of getting ready to put the game live, but it’s going slower than we hoped. Late last week, we found some serious issues that we felt we could not launch the game with. The entire Marvel Heroes team has been working for the last 96 hours straight to get the game ready. This process is nearly complete and ask for your patience. We always want to find these types of potential errors, so we’re glad we had the opportunity to fix them in advance of launch.”
The game doesn’t officially launch until June 4, but anyone who paid for the Ultimate Pack, which costs $199.99 was promised seven days of early access.
“We will not leave this studio until you can play the game. We hope this will be in a matter of hours,” stated Brevik.
We will keep you posted when the servers go live…
**Update** The devs already have Marvel Heroes up and running for the Founders, with hardly any time lost for day 1. We don’t think anyone will throw a fit over this one. Kudos to the devs for getting it up so quickly.
