Scenes from our TMNT Screening in NYC

We had a blast at our screening of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

On Friday night, August 22nd, the inaugural edition of Den of Geek Presents was held at Videology in Brooklyn. For this momentous occasion, we chose an undisputed classic of the genre: 1990’s live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Citizen Kane of anthropomorphic martial arts films. We were joined by a full house of serious TMNT fans, and that’s what made what was already a cool evening infinitely cooler.

So, maybe we gave away some prizes. Little things like TMNT action figures, Blu-ray boxed sets of all the films, and even a hardcover collection of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles issues by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Mostly, we just had fun with a room full of people who love that movie as much as we do.

Now, here’s the thing: we WILL be doing more of these in the near future. Please take a moment and let us know what other films you’d like to see us bring to a screening room in the New York City area. We’re listening. If you were at this event, thanks again for coming out. If you weren’t, well…we hope to see you at the next one!
