New Thor: The Dark World Preview

Check out this new extended one-minute preview for Thor: The Dark World, which returns some of Marvel Studios' trademark wit to the darkly toned sequel.

In case you missed Agents of SHIELD last night (or just DVR’d through the commercials), you’re in luck. Disney and Marvel Studios have kindly released this entertaining new trailer for Thor: The Dark World. In this extended one-minute preview, The Avengers gets a shout-out and some of the levity well liked from the original Thor movie returns after the previously very somber trailers for the sequel. This includes Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Jane (Natalie Portman) banter and more give-and-take between the Earth girl and the Loki, God of Trickery (Tom Hiddleston).
Thor: The Dark World returns the spotlight on everyone’s favorite Norse deity of thunder as he deals with an elemental evil that predates even the birth of creation: DARKNESS. To combat this insidious threat from within, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will find himself rekindling his romance with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), and further his “brotherly love” with the tricky Loki (Tom Hiddleston). Why do I sense this will not end well for him? Also starring Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Jamie Alexander and Christopher Eccleston, Thor: The Dark World opens in the U.S. on November 8. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for all news updates related to the world of geek.
